Pender & Coward Announces 2022 Officers

Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward is pleased to announce that the following shareholders have been elected to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee:

Dave Arnold, Chief Executive Officer – Dave Arnold was reelected as CEO after serving on the firm’s Executive Committee for the last seven years.  He focuses his practice on eminent domain, real estate and local government law.  Beginning his legal career as a law clerk at Pender & Coward, Dave has 30 years of legal experience representing businesses throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Mark Baumgartner, Chief Financial Officer – Mark Baumgartner was reelected as CFO and has served in that capacity since 2017.  With over 20 years of legal experience, he focuses his practice on litigation, business and real estate matters.  Mark began his legal career as a law clerk at Pender & Coward after serving in the United States Marine Corps and operating an import and wholesale distribution company.

Kevin Hubbard, Chief Operating Officer – Kevin Hubbard was elected as COO and he also serves as the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Chesapeake office.  Kevin focuses his practice on personal injury and civil litigation cases and regularly represents injured workers before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. He also advises clients on corporate and real estate contract matters and litigation.  Kevin joined Pender & Coward in 2018 and has practiced law in Hampton Roads for 36 years.
